The markets of the Empordà region have historically been places for meeting and doing business, and today the local people and visitors maintain this tradition of going to the market despite the number of hypermarkets that are a sign of modern times.

Every Tuesday morning, the market of Pals sells the products that form the basis of our local cooking (fruit, vegetables, oil, cheese ...), and plants, gardening equipment, clothes, accessories ... which transform the market into a space for all kinds of shoppers.

The most characteristic products of Pals and the region range from Pals rice through to pottery from La Bisbal.
