THE KENTISH PLOVER
The Kentish plover is a small bird that lives on sandy beaches and dunes.
In the Montgrí, Medes Islands and Baix Ter Natural Park there are around 25 breeding pairs. This is good news, as it is one of the local populations that is growing!
Join our workshop to learn about this fascinating bird and why it is important to respect its habitat.
🎨 Come and discover this little bird that lives on the beaches of the Montgrí, Medes Islands and Baix Ter Natural Park!
🐥 We will paint and assemble life-size cut-out models of our beloved Kentish plovers. A fun and creative activity to learn through play!
📅 Dates: 8 and 22 July // 5 and 19 August // 2 September
📍 Caseta de Fusta de les Basses d'en Coll (Pals)
🕕 10:00 a.m. ⏳ Approximate duration: 2 hours
🎟 Free activity. Registration required.
Advance booking is required. Please complete the registration form available on the activity webpage. Indicate the number of participants and the age of any minors.
The activity is subject to weather conditions and a minimum number of participants.
